Trip to the cabin w/ my family on 6/22-6/24/2012

On 6/22/2012 to 6/24/2012 my family and I went to our family's cabin "up the weber." We left our house on Friday evening to pick up our Dad at our Grandpa's house. After we picked him up we went and got something to eat at Cafe Rio in Salt Lake City. After dinner we stopped at Smith's to get some groceries for our trip to the cabin. After Smith's we drove to our cabin while my nieces and I watched Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. I can't remember what time we got to the cabin but after we unpacked we watched the movie Galaxy Quest.

On 6/23 we ate breakfast in the late morning. After breakfast we got ready and we went fishing. Only my brother and my niece Rylee went fishing. Me and my Dad took pictures and my niece Alyssa just watched Tyler and Rylee fished. Alyssa really wanted to go swimming in the river. My Dad and I came back to our cabin because I wasn't feeling good plus I was bored and wanted to hang out at the cabin. While we were walking back to our cabin we ran into one of my Dad's cousin Kay with some of her kids and grandkids. It was good to see and visit with my second cousins for a little while. My Dad went back to meet my brother and my nieces who went fishing and swimming in the river while I stayed at the cabin to relax. When they got back from fishing we all went down to the river to go swimming. While my nieces and I were in the river my niece Alyssa lost one of her flip flops. I tried to grab it before it went flowing down the river and I was getting all wet and the water was getting deeper. So, my brother left to go find her flip flop before she lost it forever. After a few minutes my Dad left to go help Tyler and I stayed at the river with my nieces. After a while my niece Alyssa started getting worried about her Dad and started to cry so we left the river to go try and find their Dad. We heard them calling our names but we couldn't see them. We meet up with them on the bridge and Tyler was mad at us that we didn't stay at the river. In the evening we ate dinner, watched home movies and played the game Phase 10.

On 6/24 we left the cabin at 11am so we can go to Park City to eat brunch at Cisero's. On Sundays at Cisero's they have Sunday brunch from 9:30am to about 2pm. The brunch is an all you can eat and it was really good. After brunch my Dad and I walked down Main Street for a little while because I didn't want to go home yet it was still early. My brother and my nieces came and picked my Dad and I up on Main Street. Then, we got on the freeway and headed for home. While we were on the freeway our car broke down luckily we were not that far away from our exit. We called our Grandpa (Papa) and he came to our rescue and to took us to his house. My nieces and I stayed at Papa's house while my Dad and brother took my Dad's car to go pick up my brother's car. They called a tow truck to come pick up my brother's car. While they were gone my Dad's car broke down on them. After they got back with the cars my Dad took us home in my Grandpa's car. We got home in the early evening on Sunday. What a crazy and fun trip to the cabin my family and I had. Take care and have a great rest of the week my friends!

Lone Peak Park with my nieces on 6/17/2012

On June 17th was Father's Day and I was going to get together with my Dad that day but stuff fell through. So, my family and I got together with my Dad over that weekend to celebrate Father's Day at our family's cabin. So on June 17th I took my nieces to 711 to get a slurpee and to go to Lone Peak Park that is by our house. On June 16th I took my nieces to get a snow cone and then we ate our snow cones at Lone Peak Park. Here are the pictures that I took of my nieces and myself at Lone Peak Park on the 17th of June. Draper Park with my friend Candice and her family on 6/11/2012

I met my friend Candice and her family at Draper Library in the afternoon on 6/11/2012. I dropped off my CD's at the library while we were there and Rebecca helped me put the CD's in the machine. After that we went to the Draper Park which is right next door to the library. We watched her kids play on the playgrounds and I took pictures of them playing. After the park we went to Sam's Club in South Jordan. While we were there I bought me some Nutty Bars, Nature Valley Sweet and Salty Nut Peanut Bars and a bottle of Aerohead water with my friends Sam's Club card. I have a membership to Costco so it was nice to use their membership card while we were there. It was great spending time with my friend Candice and her family on this day. I hadn't seen them in a while because they now live in Castle Dale so it was great catching up with them on 6/11/2012. A little while after I got home I ate a very yummy dinner.
